A show about looking into darkness and darkness looking looking back. Emotional intensity and genuinely chilling moments make this show work.

An intriguing and mesmerizing look into the dark side of life. A must see! I always knew Donna was a great singer and comic. Her dark dramatic side is equally stellar.

I am a fan of horror who has become bored and jaded over what the theaters offer us as of late in the name of the genre. So, when I read that this was “horror”, while I am a fan of Donna’s work, I was hesitant to get my hopes up, especially for what could come from just a one person show. However, even if I had gotten my hopes up to their fullest peak, this show would have well exceeded their height. I’m not going to spoil a bit of it but I will say that if you are missing that nuanced, creepy edge of dread that comes from good horror, you MUST go check out this show. You. Must.

Donna is an exquisite writer… In the context of what might seem a tired genre, her words lend reality, context and humanity to her character’s believable reaction to an unbelievable thing. Even amid the shocking tabloid incidents, her descriptions remain grounded and nuanced, leaving us to balance the outrageous with the understated.
